10:00 AM - 11:15 AMRabbi Lisa Hochberg-Miller We Jews pride ourselves on our ethical teachings. But ethics are more than pithy sayings that we either adhere to or ignore. Ethical teachings invite deep discourse, as we understand the nuances, values and implications behind them. At a time when Judaism is disparaged by many, come deepen your understanding of the extraordinarily rich world of our rabbis, who have taught and debated ethical behavior, for 2,000 years. We will delve into Talmud and Pirkei Avot as well as exploring contemporary social justice issues. In March, we will explore the ethical dimensions around Death and Dying with two sessions on Jewish Dying: Death, Dying and Burial in the 21st Century. Our March 8 session will feature speakers from End of Life Choices.
